Default Mail Icon Shows Messages but None There!

Please Login to Remove!

My new Curve is showing the message icon (envelope) on my home screen, even though there are no unread messages in the message folders.

help please,

Try pulling the battery and replacing it. This should clear out any false notifications.

go into your message and click on the menu button. then go to the "view folders" option...and open each folder you should find an unread mail in there somewhere. good luck!

Also, if you SAVE an unread message it will continue to show as unread but not be located in the Inbox.

Go to Message >Menu key and select "View Saved Messages." 9 times out of 10 there is an unread message there.

Unhide all your apps and check Saved Messages, Messages, Mail, Blackberry Messenger and obviously SMS and you're sure to find that little bugger.
