Is it possible to listen to radio station streams (not XM) on the Curve? On my Treo (good riddance), I could easily go to US Radio Stations - The Stream Center - Searchable list of America's streaming radio stations. (which is GREAT) and listen to most any radio station across the country. - Listen to US, Canadian, UK, RoI and Australia Radio Stations on your Pocket PC, Palm, Symbian-based handheld, Smartphone, PDA or other mobile device via Wi-Fi, GPRS/CDMA, 3G or Bluetooth! is TheStreamCenter for mobiles but when I click on a stream, I just get "The protocol specified is not supported by the handheld. Please try a different URL"

That was with Sprint, now I'm with T-Mobile. Is EDGE just too slow? After some searching I've found, but apparently that doesnt work so well. I guess the Blackberry just isn't good for this?

It is too slow to listen to anything over 24kbps. Even 24 doesn't work flawlessly.
Check this: AM or FM Radio on Pearl
