Yeah, we got this before, thank you anyways. I think the general cocncencus was that it was a little buggy, and was recomended we use the older DM until there is a more "stable" version available.

If you have Vista, installing the desktop manager can be a nightmare. I wasted a whole day registering .dlls, modifying my registry as per other posts, uninstalling, reinstalling -- and it still doesn't work. And it takes *forever* to get through the install. It actually disappears for a while, with no CPU activity, before the installer appears again...In short, the worst installer I have ever encountered, hands down. I hope you have XP

Yes, I've heard that about Vista.

I have DM 4.3 on my desktop that runs XP, but on my laptop that runs Vista, I have 4.2.2.

I am running DM 4.3 and Vista. I am going to stick with it but would not reccomend it right now.

i use 4.3 with vista. i like it better for the fact that it now syncs my hebrew notes as well, but the lack of minimizing to tray is very annoying

I have also noticed real speed isues at startup and coonecton under Vista. I also like it better, but think a lot of non techy users could run into problems under Vista.
