I can remember when I first got my curve 8310 and setup email I had options as to when the device would check for emails I set it to always, how do I get back in to change these settings?

There is no such setting, never has been.

Push email grabs and sends email from your server constantly (actually about every 15 mins on BIS) and there is no setting to to tell it how often. You might be remembering that from an Outlook setting or such.

how about notification? anyway to change how often the phone notifies you?

Depending on the settings in the profile you're using, the phone should alert you when the message first arrives. The default "Normal" setting should flash your LED for awhile.

If you want reminders beyond that, you might want to search the Aftermarket Software forum for "Blackberry Alerts."
