Default upgrading OS - quick question

Please Login to Remove!

this will be my first attempt at upgrading my OS and i have backed up 3rd party apps and backed up my data...my question is, if everything goes ok with my upgrade (and i assume there shouldn't be any issues with using Vista for the upgrade process) do i need to restore any data or 3rd party apps, or is that stuff backed up and restored automatically during the upgrade process?

note: i've read the blackberryfaq article about upgrading and it doesn't mention this in there...

Apps and data will be restored for most applications. Some, like BB Weather, do not store the data, so while the app will be restored, the data will need to be reentered.
