I consider myself pretty savvy when it comes to my Blackberry, but I have an issue that I can not figure out for the life of me.

Here it is, yesterday I upgraded from my 8703e to ATT 8310 (great move by the way). I did a backup on my 8703e and then restored that to my new Curve. The issue I am having is that the icon/folder for my old @vzw.blackberry.net is still on the screen along with my new @att.blackberry.net. How can I remove this old verizon email icon?

Any help?

and, fwiw, the vzw.blackberry.net email address doesnt show up on the AT&T BIS. So im looking for a way other than that to delete it.

Go to Options > Advanced Options > Service Book. Highlight and delete the one(s) for the old email address.

of course it would not, that is why i recommended to go to the Verizon website and delete it...


and d_fisher's way will do it also. I'm just used to that service book being pushed back, of course it wouldn't on this cross-carrier switch you did.
