Default Is it possible to receive an email on account A and reply on Account B on the Curve?

Please Login to Remove!

I have 2 email accounts going to my BB Curve.
I was wondering if it was possible to receive a message
from Email account A, then when I hit reply, can i change the address it
is sending from to email account B?

This happens about 10 times a week out of hundreds of emails, so it would have to be something simple to do, and not a permanent change.

Looks like you can't use "send using" when replying, but a workaround would be to forward and use "send using" that way. Will that work?

yes. its easy. when you reply just scroll up to the address you are sending where it says FROM and change it. But I can only be changed to another email address that you have stored on your device.

easy as cake!

delmarco, that is not correct on "replying" to an email unless there is something different about your OS. On a Reply, you can only reply from the address to which the email was sent.

You can choose to forward that email, choose your recipient, and set the "reply from" as described above.

yeah. I see what you mean. Its not there for certain emails. But I think if you get emails sent to your blackberry.net address you can reply with other email accounts. But the reverse is not true.

Doesn't work even with emails received at my blackberry.net address (at least not for me).

in your email settings on the remote server cant you just forward all your email to the one you want to reply from? Aka, On server A set up a forward policy to forward to Email B. Then on your BB you will always recieve the email on B, and can just hit Reply.

It is not possible to change your reply from address on REPLY emails. It will ONLY reply from the address to which the email was sent. Period. On all emails.

This question has been asked and answered many times in the Forums, and nothing has changed of which I am aware.

I confirmed that you can do it with OS 4.3, which we're all eagerly waiting for. Still no definite word about when it will be released, it's still pretty buggy

I wonder if there will be a difference between the 4.3.0 OS that is on the current 81xx models and the 4.3.1 that will be released later. Maybe???

4.3.1 will be where the upgrade is slated to occur...from what I can see.

It's in Beta testing, rumors have it after the first of the year, nothing definite.
