Default Application installation issues - no additional applications designed for your device

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone,

I've seen the posts on this topic and tried everything you mention but still get the same error message. My desktop software is up to date, I see the list of allready installed applications but cannot installe anything new without getting "No additional application designed for your device found".

Any idea? (I'm running Vista)

Make sure you have new applications ON your desktop manager and not just your desktop.

often times you have to "open" or "load" software onto the RIM Desktop Manager before it can recognize you have the new software/applications for your Blackberry when you Sync.

You say that your desktop software is up to date but don't mention which version you have. I had the same problem with 4.2... but it works no problem with the new 4.3 dt software.
