Default custom ringtones: creating then renaming

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Blackberry Curve 8310 and I just put a custom ringtone on my phone and let's say I named that ringtone "A" well I decided I wanted to rename it so I did called it "B", and instead of having just ringtone "B" I still have "A" as well. I tried to delete "A" so I would just have "B" since it is the same ringtone, but when I delete it, it is not removed from my list of ringtones. Any ideas?

(Sorry if that was confusing, that's the only way I could think of explaining it)

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

You probably need to pull the battery (while the device is still on) for about 10 seconds.

I just got my BB two days ago, so I'm new to BB and a little nervous about taking the battery out. Is there any other way to remove it off the ringtone list since it won't delete off?

Taking the battery out is NOT an issue and will resolve probably 99% of quirky issues. You could try to press the ALT + CAPS + DEL buttons to kick off a soft reboot and see if that works.

I had same problem when I deleted images...

doing the "ALT + CAPS + DEL buttons to kick off a soft reboot"

fixed the problem.
