Default Nuvi

I have a nuvi 360 and a 8310. It says the phone is disconnected until you answer the BB "is it okay to connect with the nuvi. It says that every time. It does not auto connect like my Nokia. Always have to answer the question first.

Default I have both and they work now

I have Nuvi 360 and BB8310. Had the same issues with Bluetooth. Here is what I did and made it work.
1. Make sure you update Nuvi to latest Bluetooth firmware. You can get webupdater from Garmin. We'll Take You There.xxx8482; and that would update firmware for you.
2. Go to Bluetooth Options and select Nuvi. Press the menu key and select options. Change "Address Book Transfer" to "All Entries". Save and Exit.

That worked for me. Hope it helps.

I have a very important question to those that have both the 8310 and Nuvi. Would you have chosen the 8310 over the Nuvi now that you've experienced both as a GPS navigator? I do a lot of driving for sales and was just about to purchase a Nuvi 360, but now I see the 8310 with GPS and google maps and figured what do I need the Nuvi for anymore? My only concern would be the poor performance while driving compared to a Nuvi.

What would you suggest? Do I really need a discrete GPS system, or will the 8310 do the job?

Thanks!
