Default Im confused

Please Login to Remove!

I was soaring high up in the sky with my Curve 8320 this morning then I got the dreaded Yahoo Go error mesage so I uninstalled it. Ive done it before, reinstalled it and no problem. Its worth it to me when it works.

Fantastic.

Now, since then I cant access the internet on my Curve.
Now, since then, I cant send out email. Any email, on my Curve.
Now, since then, I cant receive any e-mail on my Curve.
The only "message" I have got since then is the link sent from the Yahoo website when I went to my PC got online and requested the download for Yahoo GO 2.0 again. Sending an e-mail from Yahoo and my email account there didnt work though.

I went to TMobile.com and re-sent my service books, they said they went out and I never got them on my Curve 8320.
I can make a phone call.
I can surf the internet on my desktop thru my wireless network.

I tried to do the email set-up again and I got the screen shot below:

I tried to launch my browser(set to internet browser) and got this:

This shows how my email to Peggy wont go out BUT shortly after I received the message from Yahoo:

Is this a device(Curve) problem or a network problem?
I will appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Rob

Im really thinking the Yahoo uninstall was just a coincidence to something else happening but thats just a gut feeling.
My connections look to all be working as per this home screen shot:

Ive turned the device on and off a few times. No change.
I have not done that battery pull thing yet. I hate doing that but
will if I have to.

A hard reset is pull the battery while the device is on, otherwise you are just putting in sleep mode and not resetting things. Did you read the link that I supplied? Your answer is most likely right there.

Deep breath.....it will be ok. Leave the device on. Open the battery cover, take it out....put it back in...the hour glass with spin FOREVER (ok more like 1 to 2 minutes) then the phone will come back on.

It's not THAT bad!

There might be a key sequence on your device that will do it but I am not familiar with it. Well did it resolve your issue?

STILL spinning! lol
I just did the pull.
You know, it just seems......."traumatic" to the electronics/software to do it that way, lol.
Heck, what do I know anyway? lol

A reset via a battery pull is not a big deal. It is THE RIM recommended method to do just what you need.
How do I reset my BlackBerry? - BlackBerryFAQ

As thatsmister advised, you should be ok.

Good luck.

Unfortunately, it did not.
I even made sure to set my browser back to "internet browser" after the reset.
Any more ideas?

make sure you don't have a username and pw entered in the TCP settings, only have the wap.voicestream.com entered, and pull the battery again, it is the only way to set the TCP.

AND, go to Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table, scroll to any listing and press menu to REGISTER NOW. Pull the battery and reboot again.

Rebooting the BB is healthy for the BB.

Hey JS...;.I just noticed he is using UMA in the screenshots...should we be checking something other than APN settings? I am not familiar with WIFI as my device does not have it.

Update Host Routing tables?

*EDIT*** JS is the master....advance mind reading techniques!! Ha!

I had entered them as a solution and when it didnt work I took them back off before I did the reset. They are still blank.

Still not accessing internet and still cant send e-mail.

I did notice that when I tried to send an e-mail the "default" was blackberry.net and not my Yahoo e-mail as previously. FWIW.
