| Enterprise Activation is the process that activates a Blackberry device with a Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES).
Typically the BES is located at a person's work, but there are options for 'hosted' BES servers.

| Now in not caps, proper English, and with less of an attitude maybe...
A BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) is attached to a company's mail sever. It provides instant email delivery as well as syncing or contacts, memos, and calendar events between the desktop mail client and the device, without having to connect the device via USB. Enterprise Activation is the process which tells the BES which device is connected to which mailbox.
If you are not using an enterprise server, it is of no use to you and you should just hide the icon. | | Offline

| I think he spent those 8 minutes between replies just stewing and fuming that someone would dare call attention to his horrid spelling, caps, attitude and inabillity to use google.
Fuled by his rightous indignation he fired off a strongly worded post on the internet to set those who would point out his mistakes straight. Confident that those geeks on the internet would see he is not messing around, and that this is truly serious business with someone who is a tough guy IN REAL LIFE! | | Offline

I don't know any lam-ins. Even when it's typed in all caps.
