8320 vs 8310 i know the difference btween the 2, one has gps the other has wifi. i actually don't know which one to get. the t-mobile people tell me that the gps on the 8310 is really slow, and once you start walking it won't catch up to you. i was wondering could you get all the t-mobile settings with the 8310? since they only offer the 8320. |
8320 for me because I have bad reception at my house all the time and wifi solved my problems. Also, thank God for google releasing it's new version of Google Maps, it has this new feature "my current location" it acts sort of like a gps and it's sweet. You should check it out :) |
Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100) You can also purchase a bluetooth GPS device and pair it with the 8320 if you really do want GPS. That way you will have GPS and WiFi. |

thx for everything guys. so everything will work apart from wifi, (since the 8310 doesn't have it). btw how come this forum doesn't have a dedicated t-mobile or ATT carrier section? Was sorta debating if i should put this question in this sections |
Been discussed. BlackBerrys are global - we'd need dozens of sections. So it was decided that we'd go by BB model. It was easier before there was an 8300, 8310, 8320 and who know what in the future. |

This is a BlackBerry-centric forum, hence the name BlackBerryForums.com T-Mobile and AT&T aren't the only carriers in the world. To add a section for each device per carrier would create hundreds of forum areas. |
