What's the difference in the email on the 8310 I know it's not wifi and the wifi on the 8320. I mean what should I expect. Can I not surf on the 8310? Please help.

Well I keep reading about they're glad they got the 8320 so that when in a hotel they can get service where you can't with a 8310. I'm was scared because I just ordered the 8310 online but I want to cancel and change if I can't surf like in a hotel with the 8320. Can you?

To use that feature you would have to be a T-Mobile customer to use UMA. AT&T does not support it. WiFi can be used but not the UMA phone service.

Wifi comes in handy for surfinh internet when not in cell coverage for att. For tmo if you have uma service you can call and surf internet!

I have found that the wifi internet isn't much faster than EDGE! The processor in the BB is the biggest limiting factor

As long as you have a BB dataplan, you will have push email and Internet. Email on an 8310 is like email on any other BB. I don't think WiFi makes a difference.

The 8310 does not have WiFi. It gets e-mail (and surfs) the way every other BlackBerry does - via your mobile carrier (EDGE) signal.

The 8320 has WiFi. If you can get a WiFi signal, then you may be able to get e-mail and surf over Wifi in addition to the mobile carrier.

If you get a mobile signal, you are good. If not, you are out of luck.

The reason I bumped was I was waiting around for an answer as they told me I had to let them know if I wanted to cancel the order for the 8310 and go with the 8320 by noon today. I'm moderator on a WLS forum and that's what we suggest to keep a thread active and more apt to get a quicker response. I've done decided on the 8310 so thank you for everyone's help.
