Default When did ATT "switch" from the 8300 to the 8310?

Hi everyone. Happy Holidays!

Looks like a great information resource here. I'm "coming over" from a life time of Palm OS devices. Looking forward to contributing to the community.

Quick first question: When did ATT "switch" from the Curve 8300 to the Curve 8310?

Early October, I believe the release date was October 4th of this year, though I wouldn't call it a "switch" since they still sell 8300 Curves (usually at a lower price than the 8310).

October the 8310 was launched and subsequently the 8300 discontinued

8300's are only being sold until they stock is sold through! Most stores no longer have them typically online and the premier site are they available! As well as indirect channels
