1 Missed Call? Still? Please Help?

Default 1 Missed Call? Still? Please Help?

Please Login to Remove!
At the top of my Curve, I have a little yellow Phone Icon with a 1 next to it.
It has been there for going on 3 weeks.
I have since clicked "Mark all prior opened"
"Delete all prior" etc, and still it remains.
Also I have pulled the battery about 4 times.

Anyone have any other ideas of how to get rid of it?
Your help is greatly appreciated as always!

Thank you.

Unfortunately, I have followed those instructions to a T.
All that is left is to wipe the OS.
I have never done this before. Is this really a good idea?

well it is easy enough, but you do need to know what you are doing.
I would use the latest OS for your device. See the link.
Following these instructions exactly as posted will do it.
Do a complete backup first, for safety.

I'm very new at this BB thingy and I had the same problem a week after I got my 8320, after a lot of thinking I took the plunge a followed the above info on upgrading to the latest OS and guess what................ no stuck missed call icon! go on give it a try!!!!!

Desktop Manager > Backup Restore. It will create a file named "*.ipd".

Also, read this:
How do I backup my Third Party Applications on my BB? - BlackBerryFAQ

And it sounds as if Desktop Manager might be new to you. For this, get version 4.2, Service pack 2, withOUT the Roxio Media Manager, the smaller download.

It is also wise, as a safety measure, if you did a sync to Outlook or something as well. Not that necessary.

Reloaded the OS...Actually I loaded the newer one from that link. But, now my phone has had the hour glass in th emiddle of the screen for like 15 mins. Is it supposed to take this long?

Yes. The device will reboot twice during the process and will take 15-20 minutes to boot up. Subsequent reboots will go quick.

Nevermind, it finished. It just took forever.
No more Missed Call Icon though
