I been trying to delete this message for the past 4 days and I can't. I tried 'delete prior' I even took out the battery but I still got the message. No, it is not a saved message. Thank you for your help and Happy Holidays to all...

Have you pulled the battery and rebooted after the deletion? Could be something odd that would fix.

And Happy Holidays to you too.

Yea, I have tried pulling the battery, and reboot, but I still have the message.
Maybe I should 'wipe' it clean?

Are you on a BES?

If so were those messages on the device prior to activation on the BES. I have run into issues where users have been activated on the BES without their device being wiped and they cannot delete any messages prior to activation. The only way to delete them would be to wipe and reactivate on the BES.

Wirelessly posted (8700c: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8300/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

if you are on a BES are you running domino by any chance? When the mail file template gets updated it breaks the connection between BES and domino. We upgraded to 655 domino from 651 and pearl, 8800 and 8300 users had this. There is a work around using the desktop manager to delete the message store on the device, but I've never had it work. I had to bakup the device via the desktop manager, wipe and re-register on BES (delte user from bes and removed state db as well) and then restored everything but the messages after activation. Worked fine after that
