I've never done this before with my Curve. But Monday I decided to use Blackberry Maps to get a better idea of where I needed to go. The location: downtown Passaic, New Jersey. Hall of Records for a new birth certificate. I was in Morristown at the time, at the MVC to get a renewal of my driver's license. I had failed to read closely where the brochure said I needed certain kinds of ID to get the new license. I thought I had the full 6 points of ID, but alas, my old license (non-digital) didn't count. Off to the city of my birth go get a birth certificate as I has no clue where wifey-poo stashed my original. I typed in the address of Passaic's Hall of Records and saw the street map. Very helpful, but I have no idea where I'm getting off the highway to enter Passaic, and I definitely don't have any idea of what the streets are like in Passaic. So I ask BB Maps to give me directions. I type in the address of the MVC where I'm presently standing and BAM! Directions, turn by turn, to the Passaic HofR. If you know the roads in northern New Jersey you know how poorly posted they are and what a maze they can be. But BB Maps got me there in time to get my birth certificate and return to MVC in Morristown. New digital license in hand, I proudly marked as completed yet another task in my Blackberry.
