Default memory question

Please Login to Remove!

i did the search on memory trying to find how much your supposed to have to start with. also tried to find and did find where to look how much there is. heres what i have at the moment

file free: 21590312 bytes
file total: 52953088 bytes

my question is. is this good or bad to me it looks like half my memory is gone already and ive done nohting to the phone sense i only got it a few days ago. i have ran through the list of stuff to free up memory on another thread i found while serching. the only thing i have instaled is that 411 program that was suggested in the killer apps thread. the only ringtone i have put on there is on the media card not the phone.

thanks for any and all help

That is a good amount, If you fall below 12 Mb then that's when I would worry. A battery pull is always helpful to clear up some memory. Also try this link.
