Default Using OS 4.3 with T-Mobile?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, initial apologies if this question has been asked before - I searched and didn't find it.

I have a locked 8320 running 4.2.x with T-Mobile as the carrier. T-Mobile's latest OS release is 4.2.2.180 (in the States where I am). My understanding is that RIM has released 4.3, and that individual carriers will release their own versions of it eventually. Is it possible for me to simply download and install 4.3 directly from RIM? I am VERY interested in being able to use an 8gb microSD card (since I use the BB as my music player too) and am not that inclined to wait for months until T-Mobile releases their version of 4.3. If that is possible, will it have adverse effects on my contract status with T-Mobile? Will my phone need to be unlocked to do this? Thanks in advance.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

As long as the 4.3 is for GSM then yes but I believe only CDMA has 4.3 right now

4.3 for the 8320 is not available.
RIM is offering 4.3 for the Desktop Manager, not the handheld OS. Handheld OS is not available yet.
