This is probably obvious, but I can't find the $%^( thing. I added a new mailbox and now I get vibrated everytime I get a spam/legit email. I can't find the clicky thing to turn off the alert. HELP it's driving me nuts.

Not sure on the Pearl. But on the Curve, go to Profiles, trackball down to Advanced, then edit whatever profile you want. Then you can pick what it does for each type of alert.

I have looked in all the folders. I also have "show all" selected. Wazzup? This would explain why I can't find the app to adjust the alerts...

I have a pearl so I'm assuming it's the same thing. Go to profiles and then click on your mailbox. That will take you to your alert options for that mailbox. Let me know if you find it there.

Click Profiles > Advanced > choose profile you wish to change (like Normal)

Then look for Messages[integrated email address]

Set both out of holster and in holster to NONE

On a Curve, it might be possible to use the shortcut keys to get to it. Is it a Curve or a Pearl?

Right, but this is the Curve section so could be either.

oh yeah, i forgot.

both are changed the same way as i have a pearl and a curve. on the main screen scroll to the speaker icon which is on the top right of my screen. click it.
scroll down to advanced and click it. now go to the profile that has active beside it and press the little blackberry symbol key on your keypad to bring up options and click edit and then just change each of the things you want to turn off alerts for.
