Had my phone for 2 hours, sending back

I've never had a phone until today I couldn't figure out. I'm a third year Nursing student with a 3.95 GPA and can't even find how to find the ringtones. This obviously isn't the phone for me. I've looked so forward to getting it and the ONLY thing I can get it to do is make and receive calls.
I'm soooo dissappointed. Oh well, I guess its back to the i-phone for me.

Thanks for all of your help with my previous questions. Now I guess I get to package all of this crap up and take back to Cingular tomorrow.

Have a great night,
Sherri :bb:

Okay for some reason I am being mean spirited!

My apologies

Did make me feel a bit better if that counts for anything

TroyDBrown 12-12-2007 10:25 PM

Well the good news is you really don't have to worry about custom ringtones with the iPhone.

ifonline 12-12-2007 10:25 PM

Two hours and that's it? Wow. Just wow.

JSanders 12-12-2007 10:26 PM

sherrijo, that is what the FAQs, the manual AND this BlackBerryForums are for.

Ringtones = Look at the the Media Player, or edit your Profiles.
How do I edit my notification tones (profiles)? - BlackBerryFAQ
Where can I get my device user manual? - BlackBerryFAQ

I think I recall recommending a couple times in the past few days that you look over the FAQs.

mysherrijo 12-12-2007 10:27 PM

Your a bunch of smartasses

mysherrijo 12-12-2007 10:28 PM

Sure, would love to have you in I.C.U. unit. LOL. So funny.

mysherrijo 12-12-2007 10:30 PM

Wow Z,
That's rude coming from a man who makes what 75000 a year, maybe.
You can kiss my little azz.
There are lots of other forums out there with people with a consciense and not such smart mouths.

Good bye losers.

Let's be kind now. No need to call names.

Pasta 12-12-2007 10:31 PM

Sherrrrrrri, don't go! It's not that difficult to figure out, plus we are all here to help.

Screw ringtones! Put your own songs onto an SD card, use them as ringtones! You can change them whenever you want and you'll nevvvver run out of options!

I must say, I lol'd at

No, Sherrijo. We don't allow language and insults in the forums. You were given great assistance in this forum over the past few days. That you don't appreciate it now, we can't help. But you are not coming in here and taking out your frustration on good decent helpful people.

You come here to tell everyone that you quit trying to learn a new piece of technology after two hours, and call the phone crap to boot, and yet you are surprised that everyone is a smartass?

Please... I know you have studied technology far more complicated than a Blackberry while in school, so this whole thing just doesn't sit well with me. There are plenty of people here who would be happy to help you learn the Blackberry if you ask for help.

You spent a whopping two hours to learn something new. In that two hours, did you read anything? Did you read the FAQs here? Did you ask any questions?

xyrcncp 12-12-2007 10:37 PM

wow...lol...you resort to breaking out $$ figures? c'mon...it's the internet, what kind of replies did you expect from a thread like this? Were you looking for sympathy? If you really are a 3.95 GPA student you should know how to read. The phone comes with a MANUAL, it shows you how to do stuff, just like a book. There's also TONS of info in the FAQ here.

But since apparently you can't manage the simple task of getting to the phone's ringtones, I'll throw you a bone:

Media > RINGTONES > ALL RINGTONES.

OMG!

rextilleon 12-12-2007 10:37 PM

Stay, you are the ultimate Pinata!
