Default using curve with iphone plan

Please Login to Remove!

i have an iphone and just got a curve as a backup. I can use the MEdiaNet browser (not BB browser obviously unless I had the plan) but Opera Mini isn't working. how do I fix this? Any suggestions?

I don't care about push email.

It may not work, or you might get charged for the additional data.

I honestly doubt you will, but you could if you are using some iPhone plan on the BB. I don't know if you will be charged, but I do know they have a right to charge you for data.

Set the TCP settings on the BB, pull the battery, reboot and test OM.

still not working. the GPRS settings were on there by default but I just tried the cingular one. No different. Are the MEdiaNet browsers and BB browser identical?

Any other ideas?

but i didnt yank the battery and reboot. let me try that real quick.

yeah i get the error message:

Failed to connect to the Internet. Verification of server certificate failed. PLease check the date setting in your device.

This is with Opera Mini 4

but is there any difference between browser and MediaNEt?

People on here claim they use it on bb plan and dont get charged extra.

I thought the iPhone plan only worked with the iPhone? Is that not the case?
