Default memory card

Please Login to Remove!

i just got a new bb curve and put a 2 GB memory card in it and looked at the status on my phone and noticed the memory went down from when i first got it and looked at it.. is the memory card suppose to take away from the memory on the phone???

No, the memory card is for Media only. Pictures and music. If you have any pics or music stored on the phone then move them to the card and remove them from the device. The device memory will go down as you open applications. To see what's running press ALT + Escape. If you have more that five apps running there is stuff running in the background. Always use Menu>End (or Close) or the Escape key to close an application. Never use the Red end key as it just places the app in the background where it will consume memory.

i have music and pic's on the card but when i took the memory card out the memory went back up put the memory back in the memory went down

By how much? It should be a very small portion but I expect that the OS will use a little to manage the card but it shouldn't be squat.
