I've got my 8320 a month ago, and suddenly yesterday stated to consume the battery abnormally. I usually had to charge it every two or three days, but now after a full charge I run out of battery in not more than 8 hours, what I believe is at least "not normal" =(. Coincidently, this happened right after I left my residence country, and somebody told me that the reason could be the roaming. Is this possible ? Did anybody noticed this problem or behavior in the 8320 ?

If your phone is going in and out of service yes this is possible. When searching for a signal it is at max broadcast power. When coverage is continuous it only has to ping to make sure it's in contact. If it's constantly looking for a signal it will drain the battery.

I had the same prob, so I called my carrier and they sent a new battery out.
I started taking my batteries to 0% before recharging and now they both are lasting longer.

Different apps can bring your battery down too like yahoo go and messenger apps. Also leaving on bluetooth or wifi could also lessen the battery.

Swap the battery. I had this issue after the first week I got my phone. I exchanged the battery and now I get at least 2 days with moderate use.

ive been having the same problem where the battery will drain in about 3-4 hours. If i have tmobile do you guys know if I have to go strait to customer service, or can I go through a official store?

You need to see what applications are running in the background of your device. Press ALT and Escape (the key right of the tackball) and close any open applications. You cannot close the homescreen, phone dialer, BlackBerry Messenger and browser. make sure the Browser is not open to an active web page.

Thank you all for the answers and tips !! ....but, I'm not in roaming now, running only default apps, neither wifi nor bluetooth are activated in my BB, and my battery is still draining in about 10 hours... ohh by the way, I've changed the battery for a new one.
Any other guess ??
