i have an unlimited messaging plan, but when i try to sign on to aim it always starts and stays at 20%, i get a message saying there was a communication error, i have unistalled and reinstalled oz messenger many times but each time i get the same results. My screenname is entered correctly every time. Any suggestions?

Even though it works through sms it needs data to connect. Do you have the data plan on your account?

I did not subscribe to a data plan, but when i signed up for unlimited sms,mms, and im for att wireless wouldn't you think "unlimited im" would mean that i could use the im client... What other instant messenger program can i use on my curve to take advantage of my unlimited messaging plan?

I agree. I learned the hard way. I was trying to use the oz messsenger on a 7100t which is tmobile. It stayed at 20% too. After I added the data plan I was good to go. There's a lot they should tell you but don't.
