Default MP3 Ring Tones???

Hello..I want to put a MP3 ring tone on my 8310, cingular says its not possible. However I have to imagine that since I can play music on this phone that I should be able to have that type of ring tone.

All I want to do is be able to have the imperial death march for when my boss calls

D--yes it is certainly, absolutely. I can't believe AT&T reps would tell you that.

Yes you can! I'm not a ringtone guy, especially Hannah Montana ringtones - lol, but I make them for my daughter and I use Audacity. I cut the clip for the ring tone and test it on my BB before handing theringtone off to her.

In MP3 format it works perfectly on the BB.

yea leave it to att to tell some crap like that. i ahve the newest blackberry ringtone generator i bought lets you take songs and cut em up to makle the ringtone you want. works like a charm. as long as you have a memory card in your phone to store em on youll be fine

I do have a Memory card in my BB, what is the software that you have that lets you generate a ringtone? I downloaded Audacity, just have not had to play with it, any tips and suggestions are welcome!

You will love Audacity. You will be making ringtones in 10 Minutes. I use the software a lot. If you have an issue Private Message me and I will help you out.
