I've had my 8320 for 28 days. Everything was fine untill Friday. I noticed that evening that the hourglass was going an awful lot. Later that night when I went to bed, I decided to give it a rest and turn it off before I plugged it into the charger. I woke up the next morning, and It wouldn't turn on, charge or anything... I took it to Tmobile right away and they said that it's gone. Even coustomer care couldn't do anything about it I'm getting a replacement sometime this week....I'm pretty much in shock that a blackberry did this. I have no clue what happened. My question is though: has anyone else had their curve or 8320 permantly crash???

Technology does fail. After pulling the battery and reinserting it did you get any type of indication. The LED or screen?

That's the first I've heard of this problem.

Yes, mine permanently crashed although it was doing a solid red indicator light for maybe 2 minutes followed by flashing red indicator light. No screen action, just the light.

BB tech support went through a process with me to check if it was saveable and it wasn't.

I'm wondering if the battery went dead while it was rebooting itself over and over.

Yeah, I tried to wipe it probably 100 times in every series of steps I could think of. No battery, battery first, quickly attached, wait for a while, password, no password, etc. I posted in a different thread that had started up by then.

Battery was fine although I had considered that. It seemed to have just a tiny charge when I touched it to my tongue. But once I got back I knew the phone was dead from being able to really try to wipe it. When I put the battery in the new phone it started up just fine.

Ive had mine randomly reset on me at different times but never had mine do that. Hopefully that doesn't happen and sorry it happened to yours.
