Question telenav??

Please Login to Remove!

Whats up every one? I was planning on downloading telenav on my 8320. When i go to the telenav website the 8320 does not come up.. So what should i choose the pearl or the 8800? do i need a bluetooth puck with the 8320 to use telenav? Thanks in advance..

Yes, for one, you do need GPS for TeleNav to operate. Your 8320 does not, you will need a BT puck.

For the 8320 use the link to Cingular/AT&T and download for the 8300. That's what I use. Yes, you'll need a bluetooth GPS puck.

hey thanks alot for such a fast reply.. Honestly whats the point in paying 10.00 a month for telenav when you still need a bt puck? you can just use google maps or bb maps for free!! Is it because of voice commads?

Yes. Voice commands, automatic reroutes, etc. TeleNav is much like a stand alone GPS unit. Yes, you can use Google Maps and BB Maps but without the BT puck you still won't get your GPS location.

ah ok i got ya.. I think im going to try out the mapquest navigator. Its only 4.99 a month. I already have a bt puck i used for my pearl.. Have you tried the mapquest version yet?
