Deleted browser
 

I have somehow managed to remove the browser from by Curve. Any ideas on how to get it back would be most appreciated.

"Somehow?" It's not possible to accidentally remove the browser. Did you plug it into the desktop manager? Did you just hide the icon? Was it accidentally moved into a folder? You do have a data plan, right?

Yes, the problem did occur when I was plugged into Desktop Manager. The Browser icon is not "hidden" nor has it been moved into any other folder. "Restore" does not help even when I try using earlier backups. I am not sure what is meant exactly by a "data plan" but previously I had no problem searching the internet and had a long list of bookmarks. Also I am still able to receive and send email.

Try going to Options >Advanced Options >Host Routing Table. Click the menu key and select "Register Now."

See if that brings the Browser back. If not, you may need to reload the OS to the device.
