Default Curve 8310 - I want to delete call log, but can't

Please Login to Remove!

So, unlike the other posts, I WANT to delete my call log. Don't need anything in there more than a day.
1) instructions to press ALT+LGLG aren't working. I must be doing something wrong. It just keeps trying to look up that name in address book.
2) don't want to keep removing battery to clear things.
3) is there a setting for how long calls are kept in the log?

1.) Alt LGLG clears the RIM logs not the call logs.

2.) Not sure if they have a program or key sequence to do this on your device. I think there may be a sequence if you search.
3.) I don't think there is a setting on how long to keep but to delete them all at once. Goto the Message folder and type ALT + P, highlight the date at top and hit Menu>Delete prior.

In your "Messages" folder, click on "Application Button", click on "Options", click on "General Options". Scroll to the bottom, Highlight Keep Messages Item, then select how long you want to keep messages. The minimum is 15 days though.
