Default UMA knocks out my home network

So when I connect through wifi and make a call, the call goes through but I can't hear anything. Not only that, but it knocks my entire home network offline forcing me to restart my Netgear router. Anyone know how to fix this?

btw this is on a T-mobile 8320 that i just bought

From a 10,000ft view this smells like a firmware bug in the router, the UMA is exercising a networking feature that may not be properly supported by the Netgear code. Since you haven't mentioned, did you check the basics like making sure you're running the latest code release for the Netgear? Is the Netgear of a somewhat newer release, and not a 4yo router that hasn't had a firmware update in years? (I have a few like that, "pump & dump hardware" is my personal term for it)

Sounds like an issue with the router. I would suggested checking out the WiFi Forum and going from there.

Please don't double post. We'll leave the one in the WiFi forum open.
