Default Profile change shortcut key question

Please Login to Remove!

with Pearl, you can press and hold # key to change profile to vibrate. Is there any similar way you can do with 8300 curve?

Just disable dial from home screen on phone menu. Then click on "F" then select
vibrate

or change the side convenience key to profiles (options=>screen/keyboard=>left side convenience key opens----)

On mine I changed the Voice Dial (left convenience key) to Profiles.
