Nope, no way to do that. You can change your profile so the mail will not annoy you when it comes it.

Wow, these devices seem SO much more restrictive than a Windows Mobile based device!

Well there other options, You can turn off your mobile data at Manage Connections, and have no data at all. But you will need to turn it back on.

You might call it restrictive, lol, but at least it works dependably.
