I deleted the jivetalk folder and it still keeps making a new one everytime i start jivetalk. I never seen that before my question is it that normal, it is supposed to do that save jivetalk files to my media card

I just briefly tried it and mine seems to have buddy icons stored in it. Doesn't seem to be messages in there but I'm not sure that I've kept those or deleted them.

Have you stored any files received via JiveTalk, to your SD card?

This is from Jivetalk's buddy icons. It does not store them locally, only on an SD card. if you do not have an SD card you cannot use this feature.

I am not sure if this is something that you can turn on/off in the options, though I would imagine you'd be able to.

if you turn it off, and then delete the folder, it should not come back.

Yes, just disable the Enable Buddy Icons option in JiveTalk (under Preferences) and this folder should go away.
