Default Will 6gb sd card work?

Please Login to Remove!

I bought a 6gb micro sd card from Amazon.com. Will my Blackberry 8310 accept it? Is there a size limitation? (I want to put 6gb worth of music/mp3 on that card and use my Curve as a music player)

Also, why is opening the sd card/battery slot so difficult?

Thanks so much! (my first time here)

Welcome to the Forums Sandie!

You have to check the version of your Operating System. Then check this thread

What type and size Media Card can I use in my device? - BlackBerryFAQ

If it's under the battery the slot shouldn't be TOO difficult but it is kinda a pain. Just apply *light* pressure and slide to lock or unlock. If it's on the side I have not played with one.

Good Luck and again welcome!

The 4.3 OS hasn't been publicly released for the Curve yet, it should be out in the near future.
