I just synced my 8310 with Outlook, and the DM asked if I wanted to update BB Maps. Sure, why not. Now I don't have a BB Maps Icon again. The app is there but no Icon. Not even hidden. Where did it go? Also, is it possible to have both Outlook and Google Calendar synced with BB at the same time? Thanks again.

My icon disappeared too.

Did it just disappear all by itself? Did you plug it in to the desktop Manager? There has to be more to this story.

I simply downloaded an update for BB Maps, then the Icon was gone. In college I majored in Finance, this looks more like rocket science. I thought Blackberries were user friendly. This is going to take me hours to fix, if I can at all.

Okay, I tried your recommendation. In the DM, I was asked to update the BB Maps. I did. And I actually got an Icon on the BB device for BB Maps. Sir, you are a genius. Now, with my luck, just when I get used to this model BB, they will come out with a newer version. While I understand finance, and I am computer literate, messing with the program files, and the registry of my pc, makes me feel like I am performing brain surgery. Thanks again.
