Okay, heres the deal.

I just a brand new blackberry curve 8310 yesterday. I have internet access all that stuff. It came with the cd and usb with media manager. So I was trying to transfer some things to it and it said that I had to "activate mass storage"....Then I went and purchased a brand new Sandisk MicroSD Card of 1gb and put it in the phone and I cannot get it to recognize the card at all. When I tell it to install it, it does nothing. Then when I tell it to Format it it says "Media Card Format Failed".....Please if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. I have been fooling with this thing for over 4 hours now. This is a desperate last resort! Thank you......

Absolute guess on my part, but based on the original error, go to options\media card and turn "Mass Storage Mode Support" to "On". I think "Media Card Support" has to be on also.

Is thr card installed correctly? I had issues when I first got my sd card b/c I didn't click the holder completely so the phone could recognize the card

if the before mentioned options dont help use the adaptor and a media card reader and let your computer format it
