I am a new Blackberry owner and still finding out how to use it effectively. I am on a 14 day trial with with Telmap, a sat nav application and can't work out how to keep the map showing. After a few minutes, the screen turns off and I have to enter my password in order to get the map showing again. This is probably nothing to do with the satnav application which otherwise works fine but how can I make the screen stay on until I want it to turn off?

are you on a BES for your company? If so they may require that the BB lock after a certain period of inactivity.

Otherwise I believe you can change that in: options -> security options -> general
