Okies.

The Plan is T-Mobile 8310 curve in the new year.

Opera will be the browser of choice.

my question is does the Trackball move the pointer around the screen just like a Trackball or mouse on a PC?

yes and no, it depends on what mode you are browsing in...

I know their is the normal webpage type view with the zoom in and out (thats the one Im asking about)

Sounds good, trackball controlled pointer should be a great interface.

and the mobile view were you scroll up and down?

How does the trackball work that? I can imagain accidental left and right movment could trigger the fast scroll in normal up and down scrolling?

In Mobile View you can still scroll up and down with the trackball if you want to. OM will highlight each link as you move the trackball -- that's how you would select them. I find it much quicker to scroll with the 2 and 8 button.

If I'm correct, the 8310 is ATT, and comes with integrated GPS, but not wifi, t-Mo has the 8320( and it's wonderful )
