Default New curve owner, a few quick questions.. - 12-21-2007, 09:31 AM

So, I'm back using blackberrys(thank god), with my recent purchase of an 8320. The phone is the second coming, I'm sure of it, but I have a few tiny issues.

I'm on 4.2.2.171 and am currently experiencing:

A delay before the other person can here me, when I answer their call

And

When I hang up, and am clearly on pressing the end call key, speaker phone will sometimes kick on for about 1 second.

Anyone else experience these issues or know if a newer OS will fix them? I know that I had the delay issue when I had the pearl for a bit, but that an OS udpate fixed that.

Thanks!

The latest version of the handheld OS is 4.2.2.184 (Sticky at the top of the thread) and the latest version of the OS released by T-Mobile is 4.2.2.180 and available from their web site.

I don't have that problem - maybe a firmware upgrade will help?

I think I'll go with the TMO OS, to avoid any possible issues with .184.

Also, is it normal for the UMA logo to appear when connected to a wifi access point even if I'm not using hotspot@home?

Also, anyone have any idea why I can't delete any preloaded bookmarks or change my homepage on the BB browser?
