JiveTalk is a multi-IM chat programs for the Blackberry. It lets you log into, chat with, and file transfer with your buddies on MSN, AIM, ICQ, Yahoo! IM, Google Talk, Jabber and MySpace IM all at once.
A lot of people like it over the software that comes with the t-mobile blackberry's cause it's faster, cleaner looking, takes up less device resources, and has more features than the RIM IM clients. It does cost $20-$30, but there is a free 30-day trial, so at least you can try both options out for free and see which you like better.

I have JiveTalk, and I will agree with the others here that say it's worth every penny.
