Unhappy so excited but so many problems 8130~~

ok so i bought my curve now i want to transfer pictures, mp3's etc. using the data cable provided and the media manager.

after reading these threads ive tried it both using the mass storage mode ON and OFF.

formating the card is "failing"

double checked the card to ensure it is securely in place

someone please help.

First off, you don't need to format the card. If so, you may trash it.

With the card properly installed, when you connect to a Windows PC with the data cable, the card should open as an additional drive and then you can copy the files from your PC directly tot he card.

Yes, do not format your card. Its not necessary.It really is quit simple as stated above. Another way of doing it is getting a card reader. Its kind of a pain to get the card out of the phone but it is an option.
