8300 or 8800 I have AT&T as a carrier. I am eligible for an upgrade but am torn between the 8310 (I think this is correct for ATT) or the 8830 (Again ATT?). I travel quite a bit but usually get get NeverLost when I rent a car. The camera feature is nice on the 8310 and I have a GPS puck from use with my Dell AximX50V. I need voice dial if possible. I need your experience opinions on this. Thanks in advance. |
AT&T does not have the 8830. AT&T has the 8100, 8310 and 8820. Both the 8310 and 8820 are current models. Both have GPS built in. 8310 has a camera. 8820 has WiFi. Personally, I'd go with the 8310 unless you have a need for WiFi. |
Thanks for the reply. I went to the 8800 forum and found almost the same question. The response was about the same. |
8300 8310 is from ATT 8310 is come with GPS which 8300 dont come with 8330 is from TMOBILE which had WiFi with it |
Save yourself the hassle of carrying the puck.... Go with the 8310, its also got a fairly decent dig camera! |

There is no 8330 from T-Mobile, or any other carrier. You're thinking of the 8320. |
Hopefully their refurbs are good. I just bought an 8300 from AT&T's web site for $4.99. Bob |
If you plan to use it as a phone, get the Curve. |
8320 curve 8-) |
8300 is a more personal users handet as I feel the 8800 is more for business |
