Wink Transferring contacts from one BB to another

I have searched the threads, but cannot find information on how to transfer my contacts from one BB to another. Can someone, please advise and/or send a link.

Use the switch device wizard in Desktop Manager. Quick and Easy.

If it's just contacts, then you can easily just backup the old device using Desktop Manager. Then use the Backup/Restore Advanced feature to just restore the contact database to the new device. Quick and easy.

John,

I am moving from a 8100 (Cingular) to a unlocked TMO 8320.

It have tried the above (with battery pull) and no luck.

By the way, I have not loaded the software that came with the new 8320,
do I need too?


What am I missing?

What do you mean by "no luck"? Any specific error?

If you have Desktop Manager on your PC, backup you old device.

Connect your new device, use restore, advanced and select ONLY the address book.
