Hi, I just got a sandisk 8gb microsd card. The curve recognizes it fine. But when I hook up my curve to my computer as a mass storage device, the computer (XP) asks me to format it. In the format options, it treats it like a 4gb card, so I haven't formatted it.

It's kind of annoying to have to pop out the card in order to download stuff to it.

Any advice?

The Curve only supports up to a 4GB card. Support for 6-8 GB cards doesn't come until OS 4.3 (not out yet for the Curve.)

Thanks for the info, good to know, I guess I won't waste any more time with it.

Interesting that the curve itself doesn't seem to have a problem, at least that means the 8gb won't be a waste.
