Default What am I doing wrong?

Please Login to Remove!

New Blackberry owner, and got myself a 4 GB Sandisk microSD.

Now.. I can't seem to figure out how the hell to put it in. Open up the back, got the hinge open to put it in, I slide it in there and the hinge/door just won't shut. I'm afraid to break it, but I've tried fitting it in there different ways as well with no luck.

So.. any help? Pretty simple question, and I'm sure once I figure it out I'll feel incredibly stupid.

You have to slide it in the metal frame [bracket] and then close and lock it.

It should slide into the hinge door itself, then close down so the contacts of the card hit the contacts in the slot. It's tricky to get it into the hinge itself, but the edges of the hinge door should hold it.

Wow.. so I just spent close to a half hour playing with it in the complete wrong way, and then was able to put it in in less than 10 seconds.

Ha.. thanks guys! I appreciate it.

Better to ask that question than to force it and then ask about where to get your Blackberry repaired.
