Default Current Tmobile offer for Curve - is it good deal?

Please Login to Remove!

HI Folks
I am interested in upgrading to Curve from BB 8700 - tmobile service.

I am eligible for upgrade, but now there is Curve for FREE on the net, amazon and in the stores, with 2 year plan which requires you to get data and voice so say 60 per month. Not too bad, since I dont want the voice, just need the data. (they say I can drop the voice after 4 months so back to my data plan of 29)

Is this the best deal out there?
This deal is for new service, so I assume I break my current contract, eeeeeek.

Regards
Goosequeen

Goosequeen:

if you are a current t-mobile customer you will not be eligible for most of the FREE curve deals from resellers. you have to be a new customer to receive the deep discounts AND at least Amazon requires you to keep the voice and data plan for 181 days.

unless your contract is up and you want the phone so bad that you are willing to set a new contract in order to get it ( I did it ) i am very pleased with it too.

Its a good deal, but if ur just using data, I would eat the cost of the phone. They might give u crap about dropping the voice. I think I would take the tmo price to be safe and cost efficent

Thanks, that is true, now I am wondering.

I went through an exclusive tmobile dealer and got the phone for 50 with 2 year commitment for phone/data plan. so it is 60 per month. I wil enjoy this for a while, but will try and see if I can get back to just data. Will let you know. I already have other phone thru work.

Kk. That's good. If u cann n explain the situation, they might let you drop the voice right now. Can't guarentee anything, but tmo is usually pretty flexable
