Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys,

Got a new blackberry curve rfom t mobile, loved it.

But I am little sad about the voice quality , I hear lot of hissing noise at full volume. It is pretty disturbing, Is this common in all curve, or you guys feel I should go for an exchange.

Welcome to the forums.

I've not noticed a hissing noice on mine. I have noticed that when the screen backlight is on there is a mild high pitched sound but it goes out as soon as the screen light goes out.

Note: I recommend changing your profile to read 8320 instead of 8300. When you're posting it really helps others help you if you have the correct model number in your profile. There is a big difference between the 8300 and the 8320.

Voice quality on mine is fantastic. I upped the volume all the way to check call quality and I did not notice any hissing over either UMA or Edge. Mine is a warranty exchange phone. Other than the trackball and green phone key being a little worn out, its way better than the 1st phone I had.

Wirelessly posted (7130e: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I can't say that I've mentioned any hissing sound with mine. If it gets too bad I would exchange it for another one.
