Hi all. I am new here of coarse and this is my first bb. After borrowing my friend's 8700g in class one day, I just knew I had to have one of my own and I love it. BUT... Here lies the problem, I have purchased a microSD card and put it in the phone and formatted it. When I plug in the usb to my BB and open up DM, all seems to be well, but as soon as I hit media manager, The roxio screen pops up and does not let me do jack squat with my computer. I was able to figure out that if I unplug the USB then my computer immediately unfreezes. It is getting on my nerves because I want my music on there... Can anyone please help me? Anyone having the same problem? Also, I cannot connect to WMP. MMM is enabled, and if I try to access my card as "removeable drive g" it just says insert disk...

Did you format the card in the BB? Go to Options >Media Card >Menu key (left of trackball) and select Format Card.

I am having the same experience with Roxio rendering my desktop inoperable. I do not have a card in the BB, but I will soon. I'd like to be able to manage the media on my BB Curve, but Roxio is highly unstable.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open to trying something.

Hmmm...seems to work here, even without formatting the SD card. But I have an 8320, don't know if that makes a difference. My Roxio version is 9.
